Ideally located on the banks of the River Chalaronne not far from its confluence with the River Saône and just a short walk from the centre of the village of St-Didier-sur-Chalaronne the Camping sur Chalaronne is a delightful 3 star campsite.
Open from the beginning of April to the middle of October the Camping sur Chalaronne is located on 6 hectares beside the River Chalaronne, a river that is noted for the quality of its angling. The campsite comprises of 120 tree lined encampments that can accommodate caravans and tents in addition to a camping car area. The Camping sur Chalaronne also offers 12 riverside chalets that can accommodate up to 6 guests. Each one has its own fishing area and has a fully equipped kitchen. The campsite’s restaurant offers a wide range of snacks as well as some local dished such as chicken à la crème. There plenty of outdoor activities to be enjoyed in the area around the Camping sur Chalaronne and it is also a great base from which to visit all the other attractions of th Dombes & Saône region.
