This Ain à Vélo itinerary, dedicated to bicycle travelers, is suitable for cyclists who are used to cycling. You'll ride through the exceptional flora and fauna of the Dombes lakes, a "remarkable site", and enjoy the charm and calm of the small villages you pass through.
The starting point of your itinerary is Villars-les-Dombes, famous for its unique Bird Park.
You'll continue on to Bouligneux, where you'll be able to see its 14th-century château, listed as a Historic Monument. You'll continue on to Ste-Olive, Chaneins, Peyzieux-sur-Saône, Mogneneins, Flurieux, St Etienne -sur-Chalaronne, Châtillon-sur-Chalaronne, to reach your starting point. And you've come full circle!
