Presentation
This Segway ride is accessible to all, without difficulty, on the towpath along the left bank of the Saône.
Departure from Thoissey, a flowery village, a charming little town on the banks of the Saône which has preserved its apothecary (visit possible with the Val de Saône Centre Tourist Office) and a superb church.
Cool on the banks of the Saône, partially in the shade of the trees, bucolic and calm, we will ride standing silently on a Segway. For neighbor, a wild and green nature will make the general environment of your ride. After crossing the city via the deer park with its arboterum and its 1 km path of plane trees more than a hundred years old, we will join the towpath towards the concrete bridge towards the municipal campsite. The welcoming edge of the Saône will bring us back to our starting point, passing next to the lock and the region's dam with its hydroelectric power station.
